PR11 CVL – Estrela Gate
This is a linear route, in its entirety in common with the T14 Crossing of the PNSE and with the GR of the Estrela Geoparque, which joins the main gateway to Estrela, Covilhã, to the central massif of this natural park, next to the Cleaning Center for Snow in the Piornos.
Being naturally a difficult route, given its unevenness, it serves as a link between the main tourist services and the different existing networks of pedestrian routes, forming a backbone of the network of pedestrian routes in Covilhã.
Along the way, you will find points of interest, among others, such as Pedra do urso, Alto das Piçarrinhas, Mata Nacional or the renovated Carqueijais Viewpoint.
