PR10 CVL – Monte Serrano Route
Starting and ending at the Cherry Interpretive Center, right in the center of the town of Ferro, explore the agricultural landscapes and irrigation of Cova da Beira at the foot of Serra do Ferro. As a backdrop, the imposing slope of Serra da Estrela, overlooking the city of Covilhã, will still be a constant.
The route is circular and accessible to almost everyone, being partially coincident with the Camino de Santiago and the variant of the Grande Rota do Zêzere that cross the parish.
With this route you will discover not only the locality of Monte Serrano but also find unique views of Cova da Beira, understanding at first hand the importance of irrigation for the economic activity of this parish.
