TOURIST INFORMATION STATION
Located at the entrance to the city, the Welcome Center of Covilhã, intends to be a business card for those who visit the city of Covilhã and look for our region as a tourist destination.
It is a tourist service center, located at the entrance to the city, at Alameda Pêro da Covilhã. This modern infrastructure represents a privileged space for tourist information about the region, with regard to museological, architectural and leisure spaces, the hotel, cultural, sports and gastronomic offer of the municipality of Covilhã.
Using innovative multimedia applications that allow visitors to get to know, not only the history of the municipality of Covilhã, but also its traditions and customs, it is possible through interactive itineraries to make a first visit to the main places of interest in the municipality, thus allowing the visitor to create their own visit itinerary.
