The Covilhã Beach Pool is located in one of the largest green areas of the city, Jardim do Lago, surrounded by the hillside of Serra da Estrela and the Cova da Beira plain, where in addition to being carried away by the waves, you can breathe the fresh air from the mountain town – Covilhã.
The structure has 1,800 square meters of water mirror and a capacity for 2,800 people. It has artificial waves, a solarium and playground area, service area, changing rooms, indoor and outdoor shower, bar with terrace, mini-library, water aerobics activities, first aid station, surveillance and parking area, it also offers free Internet access, via Wi-Fi.
This infrastructure is located between the railway station and the Central de Camionagem and has its own free covered parking.
