General information

Centro Interpretativo da Cereja was born as an innovative project, at national level, that shows the productive process of the cherry.

The CIC offers various activities to its visitors, through multimedia content, interactive games, showing films and traveling exhibitions.

It also has a store where the visitor can find various products derived from cherry and other regional products, such as sweets, jams, liqueurs, wines and others.

With a “window” facing Serra da Estrela, CIC is based in Ferro, a village surrounded by cherry orchards, which is worth visiting at any time of the year.
